Cyberjaya University College of Medical Sciences - CUCMS, founded in the year 2005 as a private independent university college and officially established on 23rd October 2005. Located within Cyberjaya with modern architectural structures building. Operates from its main campus located at Jalan Teknokrat 3 as the Main Campus that can accommodate 2500 students. CUCMS main campus is equipped with modernised facilities within a conducive learning environment, easily accessible via major highways of the Klang Valley. It is about 20 minutes drive from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and about 30 minutes from Kuala Lumpur. The campus is conveniently accessible by public transport and major highways. The name for the Medical College takes advantage of Malaysia’s first truly intelligent city and the international image of the selected township of its location, Cyberjaya.

The University College started off humbly with minimal number of operational staff and academics, and its growth to date has proudly more than double the initial set up. CUCMS received its first group of 71 students who joined the Faculty of Medicine and 14 students who joined the Faculty of Pharmacy. In 2006, the first group of Foundation in Science in Medicine/Pharmacy students joined the 2 semesters programme as they prepared themselves for either an undergrad course in Medicine or Pharmacy.

Until the 2013/2014 Academic Session, there are more than 129 Pre-University students, 676 Diploma students, 1,019 undergraduate and 31 postgraduate students enrolled at CUCMS and of the total enrollment, approximately 80 percent live on campus. CUCMS envisions being a university of international standing and a leading medical institution in the region. Presently, CUCMS has the distinction of being the only Medical Sciences university college in Cyberjaya, catering not only for its immediate surroundings, but throughout the country as well internationally.
